Call for 2021 Pharis Fellows

Are you a student who is interested in hands-on learning in data science?

Applications are openĀ for a 10-week summer undergraduate research program with the Honors College Data & Society program. Current undergraduate students in any major may apply, but priority access is given to Data & Society program students.

The fellowship offers undergraduate UH students the opportunity to work with large-scale, real-world datasets, facilitated by small team projects. These projects will be focused on social determinants of health. Both faculty-mentored and community-oriented, the stipend paid to each Pharis Fellow will be $4,000.

For more information, visit the flierĀ here. The deadline is Friday, April 16th at 5pm. Decisions will be made and notifications sent by the first week in May.
