My research focuses on Theory and Algorithms for Distributed Computing, Networks, Big Data and Data Science. In particular, I am interested in design and analysis of  distributed and parallel algorithms  (especially randomized algorithms and probabilistic analysis),  graph and network algorithms,  communication networks (especially algorithms and models for dynamic networks, self-* networks, peer-to-peer networks, ad hoc wireless and sensor networks), real-world networks (especially structural, modeling, and algorithmic aspects of social networks, Internet, and World Wide Web),  distributed algorithms for Big data, data science and machine learning, bioinformatics and computational biology (especially algorithms and models for networked epidemiology, biological networks and protein structure related problems).
