A Note On Timing
Complete the registration steps outlined below at least 3 weeks before the course start date to ensure you have full access by the first day of class.
Registration Process
External students, professionals or community members may also register for HPE DSI courses. There is a flat fee of $250.00 per course. To secure your spot, complete the following steps.
- Registration Fee: $250.00 (Applicable to both Alumni and Non-UH Affiliates). Use our secure HPE DSI Payment Link to pay the course fee.
- Required Forms:
- Complete the Non-UH Main Campus Affiliates HPE DSI course registration form
- Complete the EPOI Application Form and submit to epoi@times.uh.edu.*
Account Activation and Final Registration
Once your forms have been successfully processed, activate your CougarNet account and complete your course registration using the CougarNet-enabled registration form.
IMPORTANT: Course registration cannot be finalized until your CougarNet account has been officially issued and activated.
*A new EPOI form must be submitted for every semester or course enrollment to validate your PeopleSoft ID (PSID). Previous submissions cannot be reused.
Refund and Cancellation Policy
All deposits and payments are non-transferable, and refunds/makeup sessions are not provided for missed classes. If you need to cancel your enrollment, the following cancellation fees will be deducted from your refund based on when the request is made:
Cancellation Fees
- More than 3 weeks before course start date: 10% of total cost
- Less than 3 weeks before course start date: 15% of total cost
- Less than 1 week before course start date: 25% of total cost
- 48 hours or less before class starts: 100% of total cost
HPE DSI Cancellations: If HPE DSI cancels a course or workshop for any reason, all registered participants will receive a full refund.
